'Bartzella' is the result of a cross between a herbaceous Peony and a Tree Peony that gives you a plant that acts like a herbaceous variety but gives you the bloom of a Tree Peony. Healthy green forms an impressively sturdy clump to 3' tall and wide. Foliage remains strong from spring through fall and is substantial enough to be grown in place of a small shrub in the landscape. Blooms measure 6-8" across, and have a pronounced sweet fragrance.
