This easy going, easy care native provides 3 seasons of landscape interest to humans and year round enjoyment to many essential native birds and butterflies. Flattened heads of creamy white flowers open in mid-May providing a great supply of nectar to bees and butterflies. Medium to deep green, trident-shaped leaves stay clean and beautiful all summer and provides a great contrast to bright red berries that are persistent into winter and a sought out food for loads of our favorite birds, while also providing great nesting cover for them and other small mammals. Plant 'Wentworth' alone or in groups most anywhere in the landscape since it tolerates sun, partial shade, and even moist soils. You'll love its incredible burgundy-red fall foliage show, too!
