This selection forms a large mound of arching rich green leaves. Large, dark red colored bottlebrush flower spikes appear from spring till fall, turning to buff as they dry. An infertile variety that does not reseed.

Grows well in full sun to partially shaded location. Old foliage should be cut to the ground in early spring. Drought tolerant once established.
