Originating in British Columbia, Ambrosia produces medium to large apples that are pleasant tasting, crisp, and juicy. Its smooth skin has a subtle yellow background color with pinkish-red color overlaying it. Round, upright form with white flower buds appearing in the Spring. Fruit will be ready for harvest in late September. A great choice for pairing with salads!
Thrives in full sun. Feed yearly with an organic fertilizer. Prune in late winter to remove dead or damaged branches and to promote good airflow. Plant in medium, well-drained soil. Water moderately throughout the season. Ambrosia does require a second pollinator.
