Sea Myrtle’s has a profusion of dense, white clustered flowers from late summer into fall that pop from the oval, gray-green foliage. The densely branching provides shelter for birds. An evergreen to semi-evergreen that is a vigorous grower and prized for its showy fall display. Ideal for massing in coastal planting where it can enjoy moist to wet soils.
Intensively prune back dead growth after flowering to maintain shape. Plant in full sun with medium to wet moisture soil. Tolerant of many soils and conditions such as salt-spray. Fertilize in the spring.
