This narrowly columnar, upright grass displays handsome blue foliage that takes on twilight shades of shimmering, silvery purple in mid-summer. Purplish flower spikes add to the color in summer and mature to tan seed heads in fall. Easy to grow. Drought resistant, deer resistant and perfect for massing in the landscape. Birds love its flowers for seed and nesting material.
