Dense, compact and mounding, the deep green foliage of this hardworking, long blooming selection is completely obscured at times in the summer months with large, single, deep violet-blue blooms from July through August. Long blooming and easy to grow. Perfect for grouping in the front of a landscape and in containers. Deer resistant. Outstanding in alpine and rock gardens.

Thrives in full sun to partial shade. Feed yearly with an organic fertilizer. Clean off past blooms to encourage stronger rebloom. Cut back to near ground level in early winter after a freeze.
