Hosta x 'Big Daddy'

Big Daddy Plantain Lily

  • »  Foliage is cool blue and heavily ribbed
  • »  Forms a wide mound
  • »  Large, thick form
  • »  White flowers bloom in August

'Big Daddy' lives up to its name with beefy, rounded, heavily ribbed blue foliage that forms a wide spreading mound that has a sensational landscape appeal. Its cool blue leaves are oh so captivating and its form so thick and full that 'Big Daddy' has the chops to hold its own as a specimen, but makes a wonderful presentation grouped to form a mass of blue foliage that is unforgettable. Tall scapes of nearly white flowers start in mid-August, showing off against the blue making the plant look even bigger!
