Growing & Maintenance Tips for Heliopsis helianthoides 'Bit of Honey'

Heliopsis can be grown in either full sun or part shade, but it performs much better in full sun. Soil of average fertility is preferable. When grown in moist, rich soil, it tends to need staking. Deadheading spent flower heads will extend the flowering time and prevent self-seeding.

The breakthrough here is an easy flowering Heliopsis with a shorter plant size, outstanding garden performance and disease resistance. A long known great garden plant with good manners and a long flowering season, also makes a great cut flower!

An application of fertilizer or compost on garden beds and regular fertilization of plants in pots will help ensure the best possible performance.
