Cross-bred by the University of Minnesota, Itasca has gained popularity in the Northeast due to its cold-hardy nature. Throughout May and June, petite, fragrant flowers bloom which is followed by clusters of medium, round, greenish-yellow grapes that flood the vines and are ready to harvest from early to mid-fall. Use the sweet-tasting berries to make dry to off-dry white wines.
