Growing & Maintenance Tips for Schizachyrium scoparium 'Cinnamon Sticks'

Plant in full sun for best color and upright form. Thrives in well-drained soil and tolerates a range of moisture levels, from average to very dry. Avoid overwatering and fertilizing, as rich conditions can cause flopping. Cut back to ground level in late fall or early spring to encourage sturdy new growth. This low-maintenance grass is heat and drought-tolerant.
