A wetland native, this small shrub is covered in tiny felted leaves that gives a distinct gray hue to the overall look. White and green blooms that emerge in April through June. Can also use as an accent in a perrenial garden or as a hedge. A rapid grower that loves cooler climate and wet soil. It is also deer resistant all which make it a great addition to a New England landscape.
Prune right after blooming in mid spring for best bloom next year. Thin old branches when dormant in winter.
