A cross between 'Vulcan' and 'Chocolate Soldier', 'Firestorm' is a small shrub with red, open, funnel-shaped flowers that have wavy edges. Each blossom is 3-3.5" wide that drastically stand out among the lime green leaves. Compact spreading form lends itself well to foundation use or in groupings to form a lower flowering hedge. Superb foliage, dependable late May bloom that's spectacularly showy.
