The smaller yards of your small neighborhood have met their match with this new tight growing, columnar selection of Newport Plum that will add 4 seasons of landscape beauty to your landscape. A captivating synthesis of color, hardiness and shape, Crimson Pointe™ features glossy, deep-burgundy foliage that ascends skyward on branching so strongly vertical, it's nearly parallel to the trunk when young while gradually loosening to form a very tight oval shape as the plant ages. Showy masses of light pink blooms emerge in late April before the foliage giving an airy yet powerful flowering show. Its dark foliage adds a slight hint of orange before dropping in fall to reveal the previously mentioned strongly upright branching that will fill the winter landscape with its highly architectural look. Plant Crimson Pointe™ in full sun and in moist, well-drained soil.
