Volcano Ruby' is the latest addition to this popular series of mildew-resistant Garden Phlox that debuted in 2004. This great new color blooms with plum-red flowers that have an electric effect on the garden... the color has to be seen to be believed! This Volcano, like all previous varieties, offers the same great compact growth habit, fragrance, long bloom and extreme tolerance for the powdery mildew that plagues most phlox. Because it's lower growing and compact, it won't flop when in bloom or after it rains, meaning it is a low maintenance star. Plant 'Volcano Ruby' in full sun to partial shade in fairly fertile, moist, well-drained soil, then stand back and enjoy the show.
