Captivating scent and huge flowers will have you screaming for more the first time you see this selection in bloom. 'Sarah Bernhardt' is tall growing with tightly grouped stems that each carry a big, round bulky bud by mid-May. Buds open in late May to huge, very double rose-pink flowers that are as fragrant as they are showy. Flowers are perfect for cutting to bring that incredible aroma inside and its deeply dissected foliage remains clean and deep green throughout the season. Place it in full sun or partial shade in moist, well-drained soil and be sure to provide support to the plant to keep those mammoth flowers upright and looking their best.

Thrives in full sun and well-drained soils. Feed yearly with an organic fertilizer. Planting too deep will inhibit flowering. Remove dead foliage in late fall to after a hard freeze. May require staking during bloom.
