Big green leaves speckled with silver form a pleasing mound in the shade landscape adding great texture and great color especially when clusters of large, rosy pink flowers open above the foliage in early May. Thrives in partial/full shade in well-drained soil. Feed yearly with an organic fertilizer. Awesome in groups or single in container gardens. Deer resistant. Cut back foliage to near ground level after a hard freeze in late fall. Asexual propagation prohibited.
