Pseudolarix amabilis

Golden Larch

  • »  Decidous conifer
  • »  Slow growing, broadly-conical
  • »  Light green foliage above and blue-green below creates a soft green color that turns a golden yellow in the fall
  • »  Synonymous with Pseudolarix kaempferi and Chrysolarix amabilis

The Golden Larch is a unique deciduous conifer that brings beauty through every season. It has a slow growth rate and naturally forms a broad, cone-shaped canopy, making it an excellent choice as a specimen tree for larger gardens.
In spring and summer, its soft, light green needles have a subtle blue-green underside, giving the tree a gentle, airy appearance. As autumn arrives, the foliage transforms into a brilliant golden yellow before the needles drop for winter, creating a stunning seasonal display.
