This columnar evergreen shrub features dense, dark green foliage that remains attractive year-round. Skinny Skip Cherry Laurel thrives in full sun to partial shade and is best planted in well-drained, rich soils with average to evenly moist conditions. While it doesn't tolerate standing water, it can handle some environmental salt and is highly resistant to urban pollution, making it ideal for city environments. This medium-growing shrub reaches 12 feet tall with a 3-foot spread at maturity and can live for 50 years or more under ideal conditions. It’s adaptable to various soil pH levels and works well under power lines, thanks to its low canopy.
