Narrow and columnar in form, this eastern white pine is tight branched with smooth needles that appear fuzzy from a distance. Blueish-green foliage and gray bark persists throughout the winter. While this variety does have stronger-than-typical branching, it is beneficial to prune to ensure resistance of splaying from ice and snow loads.
Thrives in full sun. Feed yearly with an organic fertilizer. Pruning should be done sparingly in the late winter.
