Rich, dark-green, leathery foliage sits on rusty brown branches which contrasts to the large, luscious, 5-6” creamy, white flowers. Fragrant blooms emerge in late spring. A fast-growing and hardy magnolia that can withstand cold temperatures better than others. Easy to grow and dependable.

Plant in a sunny to partly shaded location. Prefers moist, slightly acidic soils. Does not tolerate extreme drought. Prune after blooming. Usually requires little pruning other than removal of dead or damaged branches.
