Many home landscapes shy away from planting our native American Sweetgum because of its messy fruit and its wide landscape footprint. 'Slender Silhouette' breaks down that barrier by producing far less fruit while growing to an astoundingly narrow 4' wide at maturity. Now it is easy to enjoy this plant's unique star shaped foliage, its easy care nature and its tremendous deep yellow to red fall foliage color in a variety of narrow landscape spots. You can even use it as a unique hedge or windbreak that looks great year round! Perfect for full sun, 'Slender Silhouette' thrives in most soil conditions.
