Inkberry is used extensively in the landscape and 'Shamrock' is one of the most prized varieties of this workhorse species. It's easy to figure out why once you see its dense, slow growing form and its extremely attractive foliage that is pointed, lustrous and exceptionally cold tolerant. 'Shamrock' retains its great form with a minimum of maintenance, reaches only 4' tall at maturity and is virtually pest free. The species is native to the eastern U.S., so you know this landscaper's dream is useful as an attractive specimen, in hedges, or planted in groups.
