This very vigorous strain of hellebore has dark evergreen foliage and a long flowering period. Flower colors range from white to near black, most being red, and emerging with the first mild spell of spring. February-May. PPA Plant of the Year 2005.

Plant in partial to full shade and keep the soil moist. For best blooming results, trim old leaves to the ground in late winter before buds emerge.
