Welcome early spring with a wave of colorful yellow daisies that will be sure to take the chill off those cool April mornings. 'Leonardo' wakes up early, forming a tight mound of deep green, somewhat fleshy, heart shaped foliage that is quickly topped by a myriad of fat flower buds. These buds open in mid to late April to completely cover the plant with those 1.5" diameter sunny daisies that will provide instant garden warmth. 'Leonardo' is a marked improvement over other Doronicum varieties because of its tight, dense form and its consistent, profuse bloom. Plant it in full sun to partial shade and in groups for a powerful show that will get you in the mood for spring in a hurry!
Keep well watered during growing season making sure it is well-drained. Does not tolerate drought.
