This easy-care, compact native shrub is loaded with pollinator and butterfly value as large flat heads of small white flowers appear in late May and early June to provide loads of nectar. White fruit in late summer is a songbird bonanza! Dense and rounded, this selection's pleasing foliage turns burgundy red in fall and will thrive in moist areas.
Fertilize yearly with an organic fertilizer. Thin old, crossing branches in the winter months to reinvigorate. It can be pruned to control size in summer or winter.
