Deep green, thread-like foliage forms a tight yet open, airy mound of foliage that comes alive in late spring as hundreds of buds begin to open to show off deep red, single daisy flowers with yellow-orange centers. These dark, beautiful blooms are non-fading, sterile and will continue to light up any garden right through summer especially when grouped in the middle of a garden.
Prefers full sun. Feed yearly with an organic fertilizer. Deadhead as flowers go by in summer. Prune back to the ground in late winter before spring flush.
