Growing & Maintenance Tips for Chaenomeles speciosa Double Take® Peach
Double Take quince needs little in the way of regular maintenance. If pruning is required, do so after blooming ceases in late spring/early summer. Flowers appear mostly on two-year-old wood, so do not prune too heavily. Fertilize, if desired, in early spring, when the ground has thawed.
In cold climates, plant in full sun for the very best flower color. In warmer areas, some afternoon shade will help flowers last longer.
