This little Heather is a WOW powerhouse featuring ever changing foliage color and a bloom that will make you sit up and take notice. Late spring and summer sees Carnival with foliage that is as bright yellow as the sun giving a morning sun/afternoon shade garden brilliant color and texture while providing a colorful backdrop for its masses of small mauve to lavender flowers that line each stem and bloom from late June into August. As fall and cooler nights approach, Carnival's brilliant yellow foliage takes on a stunning orange shade and continues right on changing until it turns a vivid scarlet red as winter sets in. This brilliant foliage show is really what makes this plant shine and it will be a welcomed, colorful addition to any moist, well drained soil location with the proper sunlight. Give Carnival protection from the prevailing winter winds for best performance and sit back and enjoy one heck of a show!
