The Carolina Sapphire Cypress, also known as Arizona cypress, is an excellent choice for creating tall privacy screens or blocking unwanted views. These trees grow fast, reaching 20-30 feet tall and 15+ feet wide at maturity. For a privacy screen, space them about 10 feet apart, or 18 feet if you want a bit more room between each tree. They do well in full or mostly sunny spots, with morning sun and some afternoon shade. Once established, they need average water and are pretty low-maintenance. These trees are perfect for quick growth, but a little pruning here and there can help keep them looking their best.
