Growing & Maintenance Tips for Carex flaccosperma

An excellent selection for shaded streamside plantings or rain gardens. Blue Wood Sedge is a water-loving grass and thrives in shaded moist soils but also can handle drier garden conditions, it can even handle some drought. After a hard frost, remove foliage by cutting it down to near ground level.
