Large, arching dark green leaves are heavily laced with silvery mottling throughout. In spring dark purple 2" flowers emerge. Grow as a groundcover for the woodland garden. Also good for containers or borders.
Prefers light to moderate shade and moist, acidic, humus-rich soil. Minimal pruning is needed, removing damaged foliage in spring if needed.
