I am originally from Idaho and started my horticulture career working on my graduate thesis with the USDA Forest Service in Coeur d'Alene. One trip to The Far West Show in Oregon changed my plans, where I  met my husband, who is also in the plant industry. 2 years later I found myself moving across the country to Connecticut and working for Prides Corner Farms. I am not sure if Prides Corner first knew what to do with me, but I found my place in the Marketing Department. I love the challenges and juggling of projects that keep me busy and constantly learning. I find that same skill set comes in handy managing my three kids, a dog and husband. Having two "horticulturists" as parents our kid's summer vacations generally consist of exploring National Parks and botanical gardens as we road trip around the country.

I live in the northwest corner of Connecticut near a lake where we enjoy hiking, fishing and kayaking. We garden in the local community garden and are working on clearing our small wooded property of invasives and replanting with natives. Other hobbies include my 2 two fish tanks and I am currently rebuilding my 1968 Firebird. I am a bit of a coffee snob and foodie that enjoys any kind of ethnic food - if it's different or unusual I'll give it a shot!
